FNM marine engines are built by C.M.D srl. (Costruzioni Motori Diesel). Factory is situated in Italy in the city of Atella, about 160 kms south from Napels. The headquarters is situated in Casserta, near Napels.

FNM is one of the forerunners in modern high rpm diesel engine technology. CMD has built their own diesel engines since 1973 for car industry (Fiat). Marine engines are built already over 15 years.

FNM has ca 100 employees, and 45 % of them are working with marine engines. Total production of engines is 1.000 units per year.

CMD is making a lot of investigation and development for diesel engines. We can say, that CMD is one of the most advanced companies in "high tech" diesel engines. CMD has got QS 9000, ISO 14001 and S.T 2006 certificates. www.fnm-marine.com
